mockingbirdqWe had planned to go to the funeral home today, but it is SNOWING so we will have to wait. We've rescheduled for tomorrow.
%&%@^&% Aunt B*** who called and made Mom feel bad today. Lots of "why didn't you take care of the funeral plans yesterday?". Ummm, sensitive much?
Dad didn't die until afternoon, we had no idea he was going to die, and we didn't feel like dropping by a random funeral home on the way back. We had to discuss things and find a reputable place. Jeez... She made my Mom cry. B*tch! Besides, all we are doing is ordering the cremation and maybe choosing an urn. Dad always said he wanted us to save his ashes until Mom dies and then put their ashes together. Mom wants us to scatter them both at the family plot. Hopefully that's way in the future.
We will have him cremated and are planning a memorial service back in Nac in a few weeks. I'll let everyone know of the details.
