mockingbirdqWent to the Bodyworlds exhibit at the Dallas Science Museum yesterday. Very cool, but Tomu stayed out with Fox and they went to the children's section instead. Tomu doesn't like dead bodies or mummies. Ever.
It was interesting but a little too artistic. It was so obvious the figures posed with body parts flayed artistically were done for the maker's jollies. No wonder his wife divorced him while he was making them.
The individual organs were the most interesting in my opinion. It was also strange to see how many people refused to go into the curtained off area with fetuses and the pregnant body. To me that was disturbing, but fascinating since you could actually see how the baby fit into her body, which was something I could never picture while pregnant.
Fox is home sick today and wanted me. He hasn't pooped in 4 days again, despite the stool softeners and even a laxative today. I've changed his diet, offered bribery, and fed him things that should make everything GO. This is incredibly frustrating and the doctor is no help!
OTT, Nick just told me about the shootings at VT. Is it sad that the first thing I thought was "but it isn't april 20th?" The rumors at our school all center around that date...
