mockingbirdqOh good god. Yesterday Fox got in trouble at school for "sexual harrassment".
The teacher who witnessed it wasn't there when I arrived, but apparently he and another little boy were playing in the corner of the room. According to Fox, the other boy had his hand in his own butt and was threatening to "touch everyone with poopy hands". Fox then reached in the front of THE OTHER BOY'S PANTS and grabbed his penis, with something along the line of "I'll grab everyone with penis hands" (why Fox didn't grad his own penis instead of the other boys, I have no idea). Apparently, the teacher wasn't close enough to hear the exchange, but she did see the other boy bent down with his butt in the air, and Fox reaching around and grabbing his penis @_@
Is it sad that I'm sitting in a meeting on this with the head teacher thinking "Could he have possibly found my stash of yaoi?" If Fox had been the one being grabbed, I would have laughed it off. I remember playing "doctor" as a kid his age with my friends very clearly, and there was no type of sexual abuse going on in our house, and my psych classes say it is normal at this stage.
Between that, and that fact that Fox uses words like "penis" and "vagina" I know we are now on the monitor-this-kid-carefully-we-may-have-call-CPS list. It reminds me of my father telling about chasing a little girl in kindegarten and kissing her on the playground, only to be hauled off and spanked in the principal's office. Overkill much?
That said, we've had some discussion on "good touch, bad touch" and "private" things that should only be done alone. I also played a tickling game with him, where he had to tell me "NO!" when he didn't want to be tickled anymore.Just being able to say "no" to an adult without them being angry is empowering for a kid.
All the little girls flirt with Fox (one gives him gifts everyday as he is leaving, and another is always beggin him for a hug ;) but he only cares for the boys. Although a few days ago he announced that the teacher was his "girlfriend". I'm wondering what high school will be like??

can understand the school's reaction in light of the other parent possibly making a complaint. they have to play it TOO safe. :/

Fox really is too obsessed with peni (is that the plural? They never teach the important words in English class ;)
