In 7 hours, I will be having a wisdom tooth removed by an oral surgeon (Dentist couldn't because the tooth is on a nerve and is so infected it will just shatter during removal)

I am beyond nervous. Partly because my experience with dentists is limited - my first dental visit was when I was 19, since I never had dental care as a child. It was all my parents could do to afford health insurance at times. I spent a lot of time in the waiting rooms at free clinics...

My asthma is still acting up, so being sedated terrifies me. Still, with my TMJ I know I would be too uncomfortable if I don't go under during the procedure. My jaw will be cracking for days after anyway.

I am such a big chicken about dental work. I'm just proud that I made it through my first root canal and crown a few months ago. Wah!

OTT, one more week of school left. I will be packing my classroom all next week because our school is finally replacing our 20 year old nasty carpet *Yah!* and repainting the walls *boo!!!* I just spent $50 repainting them last year myself.

I'm still looking for a new car. I really liked the Mitsubishi I drove today ;)

My husband keeps telling me not to be a baby - that he had four wisdom teeth removed at once years ago. This does NOT make me feel better as his tolerance for pain is much higher than mine. I'm going to be whining for days ;)

Our kid gets it from him. Fox can literally run smack into a wall and jump back up to run around like it was nothing. I have to hold him still to clean blood off when he gets hurt.
