mockingbirdqMy friend Heather, who I love like a sister, had a little boy today. She was induced and still managed natural childbirth. She is completely wonderful and stubborn and amazing.
I hope her son takes after her, except for his father's sense of humor. His name is Xander, in honor of her sister Zandra who passed away last year.

I am going to see them this weekend, come storm or not!
