mockingbirdqWell, it was a good thing that I called in. Fox began running a high temperature and I had to run him to the doctor. The good news is that it wasn't strep or flu - the bad news is that it is viral so there is nothing to be done for it. He's barely eating and has slept most of tonight.
Now the problem is ... what to do with him tomorrow? He can't go to school, Tomu is just starting a new job and I only have 2 more non-paid personal days left and no sick time. I lost $300 today by staying home and I can't afford to lose more tomorrow. The joys of being a working parent.
