Mar. 27th, 2005 12:18 amKiddo hasn't been sick since lunch, I've been reading fanfics for the last 3 hours and I don't have to wake up early tomorrow. Also won ds a toddler bed on Ebay. It looks like a yellow VW Bug with a smiley face - really cute and it cost 1/5 of what it does in the stores...

I'm suddenly sucked into Yami No Matsuei fanfiction tonight. Wanted to rec this: http://www.juohchofiles.com/archives/2005/02/07/surpassing/
I like that this fic deal with Tsuzuki/Hisoka and any possible relationship much more realistically than most PWP's. Warning - this fic is rated strong R really...Most of the story is from Hisoka's POV, an empath who died after being raped and killed as a teenager, not to mention having a F*cked up family (those who are familiar with the series are rolling their eyes at my curt description)
For those who have never read YNM, the characters are basically dead themselves and help control demons and souls of the dead (think "Dead Like Me"). The anime has some lovely art and music and the manga is available in English now at Suncoast, Waldenbooks and such... It's fairly safe to call it Shonen-ai, I think.
