Dec. 28th, 2006 07:52 pmWe survived Christmas. I've been playing my DS lite sims game ;)
We had 3 seperate Christmas meals with various family in the last 3 days. My kitchen may never recover. Fox keeps singing "Santa Claus is coming to town" still. I keep trying to explain that Santa won't be back for a Lonngg time. Fox's next question was "when is Halloween?".
Target's green dot $1 spot is currently 75% off and it includes batteries! Good time to stock up. They are also marking a ton of toys down 50% but I only bought one small game for $3. Darn budget and maxed Target card...
Our Roomba vacuuming robot is so cool - watching 1812 zoom around is family entertainment. The Scooba doesn't have a name yet though. I love them!
And now that all the after Christmas sales have begun, we are paying property taxes and are on a strict budget. Waah! And Kohl's finally had the rug for Fox to drive his cars on for his room on sale for $10 and I'm not allowed to buy it. Wah!!
THis is the COOLEST thing ever: enter the leftovers (or ingredients) you have available to cook a meal and it gives you recipes. Why haven't I seen this before?? It helped me use up some leftover ham tonight:
