School's out for summer..... Yah!
May. 25th, 2007 05:47 pmMy last day of school today, and everything is done until summer school starts next week. I'd be happier if I hadn't had to go to the doctor and found out I have Strep throat. bleah...
To cheer myself up, I've been reading some feminist slash links (the best kind ;) This I think all slash fans should read:

And an interesting article on fandom and male privelige (BTW, the figure quoted on breast cancer receiving more funding that prostrate would have been incorrect just a few years ago, although I'm not sure about now)

And an interesting article about why same-sex marriages aren't allowed in the new Tolkien RPG online - apparently the makers are debating that and interspecies marriage in the beta version, to the point of taking all marriage options out @_@

I'll stick with my Sims 2, thank you - where I can pair up anyone I darn well please. What does it say about me that my current neighborhood has 2 straight couples, 1 lesbian, and 5 gay married men. And my lesbians have the largest family ;)
