mas o menos

It took all weekend but we have some beautiful canadian cypress laminate flooring in our living room. Luckily, there was enough in the lot we bought, because the nearest place to purchase this color/brand which was sold out at the outlet store is Toronto @_@ We live in Texas for those who don't know... But we spent less than we would have for Ikea's cheap stuff and ended up with very high end flooring. It looks so nice!

Still shaving down and repainting all the trim we had to remove though :P

Meanwhile, I've been in some pain. I have a cavity that can't be treated and crowned due to a wisdom tooth pushing into it, so I'm having the wisdom tooth removed Friday, and the week after I can treat the cavity. I'm thinking $1,000 after insurance. So much for tax refund... I could've bought a Wii with that money. Wah! I am achy and grumpy. Oh, and my 18 day late period finally started as well. I'm BITCHY, achy and grumpy.

Only 4 more weeks of school. I don't know how I survived last week. 4 days of proctoring TAKS for 4 hours at a time with a room full of students, followed by 1 miserable day in which I had to walk students into the gross school restrooms and then listen to them pee to insure they did not use a cell phone during testing, ONE KID AT A TIME, for six hours straight. I have a new definition of hell.

Danielle has surgery tomorrow for her gallbladder. I'm hoping everything will go well, and she won't end up with my mom's complications. I found out she is using my mom's original surgeon, which worries me...

And I just caught Fox out of bed CUTTING a library book with a pair of scissors. This weekend has been too stressful. I've ready for summer!
