Sep. 3rd, 2008 06:42 amJust a Justin update: Yesterday the cathader was removed for good, and they let him have real food. The pickiest eater in the world ate everything on his tray ;)
Yesterday the therapist walked him down the hallway where many of the families of ICU patients wait - he got a standing ovation. So many of the patients in the ICU trauma area are in such bad condition - I guess Justin's recovery gives them hope.
I taught about drunk driving and told Justin's story in all my classes. If I make one kid think, maybe it will have been worth it.
