As a mom who always breastfed discretely, with sling or blanket, but still got diapproving stares and even comments - This needs to be the norm.
Of course, it didn't help when Fox was five or six months old and liked to make "Mmmm..." sounds the entire time he was nursing, public or otherwise ;)
