Okay, off my intactivist rant/studies sharing and onto fannish things.

Wah! I just finished all 60 parts of snowdragonct's "Witness Protection" and it has me sobbing. I'm hoping it is still unfinished because I'm still tearing up. I haven't read anything that emotionally wrenching since Sunhawke's Ion Arc. Wah!!! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4136637/1/Witness_Protection

I'm feeling the urge to draw illustrations for it as well, but my stupid scanner is still out of commission. During March, when half the writers whose work I love have birthdays, and I can't give them any art! I need a new scanner...

And while I'm at it, my digital camera died and needs to be replaced, my printer doesn't work and I still can't get my photoshop to reinstall. The digital art gods hate me ;)

Bad day...

Has a child ever been truly possessed by demons? Because I swear that is the most likely explanation for Fox today.

Just today he has:
Completely SOAKED the bathroom by flooding the wastbasket while he was taking a bath, then dumping the wastebasket across the floor to make a "swamp" (took 5 towels to soak it all up!)

Taken off his socks, dipped them in the sink, then buried them in the cat litter pan (that was fun to dig out)

Spilled a full cup of juice across the floor

Dropped a new bar of soap into the toilet, causing the toilet to just barely overflow every time it flushes. And yes, I have attempted to plunge it out and tried to get it out with my own hands. Auughh!

Threatened to kill people, hit them in the privates, and talked incessantly about "boobies". AUUUGHH!

Refused to play outside with the neighbor kids. He just sat and watched them play.

Refused to eat anything other than cereal, jello, pudding and scrambled eggs the entire day.

Threw a temper tantrum the likes of which he hasn't managed since age 2 outside a restaurant, resulting in me picking him up and dragging him to the car (no easy task since he weighs 50 lbs.) He then wedged his foot in the car door in an attempt to keep me from closing the car door, which would have been very painful if I hadn't noticed and not slammed the door.

If he isn't possessed, then he must be coming down with something. Fox never acts so bad. Suffice to say, he lost his allowance for doing chores this week. He slept fine all night last night and isn't on allergy medicines, so I can't explain it...
