bad week...
Jan. 7th, 2004 06:45 amLife soo sucks this week. Here's why:
1. My dad is in the hospital and I haven't even been able to go see him.
2. My car has been in the shop for 2 weeks and the mechanic still doesn't know why it won't run. If it costs more than a few hundred dollars to repair then we can't afford to have it done. Our budget is THAT tight now.
3. The baby is sick and his medicene is making him grumpy rather than sleeping. He's been yelling constantly evem while I try to hold and comfort him. He now screams if I place him in the baby swing or sling.
4. We have to take the baby to a specialist in Dallas for possible hip dysplacia. It may be related to a rare disorder that runs in my family, called EDS. I feel guilty since I have a minor form of it myself.
5. Tomu is ready to say something he shouldn't and get fired at work. He's that pissed. And we can't afford for that to happen since I can't work right now.
His problem is the worst. He's being forced to work lots of unpaid overtime and he's too exhausted to help me at all. Last night he worked from 10pm to 6am, came home for 2 minutes, and then left again because a dumb*ss manager didn't put her team reports where they should be. So now he thinks he won't be home until 1pm at least.
Our plan was to stay here until I started a teaching job next fall, but Tom's situation at work is soo bad that I think we may have to leave soon. He's so miserable with his work, and he's furious watching other people without degrees or experience get promoted for the wrong reasons.
I don't want to move yet!!! I'm a basket case just trying to take care of the new baby!
