Just stuff...
Celebrating Father's Day with my folks tomorrow. Step-MIL threw a bit of a fit that we weren't going to be at their place but it wouldn't have been much of a holiday for Tomu if we had to drive all the way there and back this weekend, so forget it :P
Spent less than $10 on DH's gift, but I hope he'll like it. Put together a box of chocolate for him to keep at work with a little poem about how much we love him and appreciate everything he does for us (signed by Fox, of course ;) Also made him a Photoshop photo of him ($.34 printed) and ds together and picked up samples of some nice colognes that I can't afford to buy him right now.
The last is kinda a family joke - Years ago when both my parents were out of work and my dad couldn't get my mom a X-Mas gift he went around a large mall and literally collected 100 samples of nice perfumes for her, put them in a basket and gave them to mom as a gift. My BIL did the same thing for my sis a few years later when they were in college and struggling. The thought counts more than the gift sometimes ;)
Sent out more applications Friday and will follow up Monday on them. Still looking for something part time to tide us over 'till then...Attending church tomorrow 'cause a little prayer couldn't hurt, right? Figuring no job changes for Tomu must be god's way of telling us to move soon ;)
