Dad's memorial went well last weekend. Fox was hyper but especially good, which is why my FIL's comment that "whatever book we are using to raise him, is the wrong book" TOTALLY pissed me off. MIL (divorced from FIL years ago) said to ignore him 'cause he was never around when his own kids were that age, but geez... And they wonder why we won't let Fox spend the night with FIL and his wife.

But other that that, everything was good. It was great to see so many friends and family, but strange. It felt like Papa was still alive...

Everyday, it's getting easier though...

On a happier note: Happy Birthday Kracken! And best wishes for many more years of writing and art :)

Sister in law would tell me how well behaved her nephews, on her side of the family were, and she would describe,basically, little robots afraid of their shadows. I much prefer my bundles of energy and spontanaity.
