Dec. 26th, 2007 09:25 pmToday felt more like Christmas. Mom was feeling better and spent the night. I made a huge spiral ham with homemade potatoes au gratin for dinner, and Tomu lit a fire in the fireplace. Mulled cider and peppermint bundt cake smells throught the entire house too.
Fox has more presents than any child has a right to, yet none of them were toys he already has so I have no excuse to return them. He got:
A working toy vacuum
A tool bench with working plastic tools
A Radio Flyer big wheel
A power rangers megazoid
A baby doll that drinks and wets (sans penis. He's been asking for anatomically correct but they cost too much ;)
A stuffed puppy
A cooking set that can go in the real oven
A plastic shopping cart
A metal dumptruck
A Cars pop up tent
A Leapfrog globe
A set of musical instruments
A bug vacuum
A Disney and a puppy shaped towel
A remote control police car
A snoopy sno cone machine
Only 5 of these were from me, and 3 from Santa. I had given relatives all his clothing sizes, and all he received were 2 sweaters. Even relatives who have never met him sent him toys this year. It's crazy!!
Methinks the toys will need to be boxed and rotated to prevent overstimulation. Wow!
