Today is the 1 year anniversary of Dad's death. 'Nuff said.

Last week of semester, ARD meetings today that were unproductive, and 5 new students who refused the Newcomer program and are draining all my time and energy.

Life sucks and I want to quit my job. I'm tired...

I'm only a 4th year teacher and I'm already feeling burned out. How do people do this for 30-50 years??

Teaching is by far the hardest job I have ever had. I just wish I had time for my own kid instead...

To be honest, I don'tknow many teachers who've lasted that long. The ones that do seem somehow to be able to let the stress sort of wash over them. It's an incredibly hard job, I know my husband finds it so - not so much teaching the kids, but all the stuff around it. Bureaucracy, paperwork, politics and policies.
