Sorry that I haven't updated, but I've been spending a lot of time at the hospital with mom. (Why do they create the fold out to 3 feet long chair/bed? to discourage overnight visitors?)

She did well in surgery, and continues to recover well. TOday or tomorrow, she enters a rehab center for 2 or 3 weeks, to regain her muscle strength.
