mockingbirdqCalled oral surgeon today. Horrible pain has stopped, to be replaced by tingling numbness from upper lip to chin @_@ Apparently this means there was nerve damage, but the fact it is tingling means it will heal. In 1 to 3 months. Meh :P
Um. Still filling out 200 parent notification forms, and the program exit forms now include original date of program testing, which means I have to go dig through the file room to see if the original language test is even there. For some of these kids, that dates back to elementary school. Ugh... See what happens when I try to exit kids from the program that should have been taken out 5 or 6 years earlier. Damn...
Still packing my room. It has stuff from the the 1980's and earlier in the cabinets. Old computer programs, tons of ESL program documents that are so not needed and lots of old books we will never use. What a pain in the A$$!!
I had girls in my room crying today because 3 of them are going back to Mexico. 2 years ago they would have begged to - Now that they want to stay here their parents are giving up and heading back. The bad economy has a lot of families leaving the U.S. recently.
School is out today, but I'll be packing tomorrow all day, then back filling out paperwork next week. My vacation may start SOMEDAY.
