mockingbirdqSpent yesterday at Mom's place. I baked ziti for dinner then made cupcakes, which I will share pictures of, from a family recipe, which I am not allowed to share or my mother would not have taught me to make them yesterday. She does not get the whole point of the internet posting of such things, because "we might win a baking contest with them someday" - in her own words. Despite the fact that it is a recipe with only 5 ingredients, although my great grandmother did originally make it. Love ya Mom ;)
Anyway, ran mom to pharmacies (2), lunch and errands today with Fox along - who woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was in the uncooperative chair twice this morning, but magically changed his behavior when he realized we were going to Target. He adores Target because it has "awesome" things like YugiOh cards and Bakugans.
I then drove through McDonald's for dinner, which was a big mistake. FOx and I both had burgers and were promptly extremely ill. Food poisoning sucks, for the record. Of course, Tomu ate the fish sandwich and he is fine. Chicken only at McD's from now on!
That's all. NO MORE WORK FOR 2 WEEKS! Yes!!!!!!!

Date: 2008-06-09 12:13 pm (UTC)On the plus side, I'll be visiting Nac at least twice this summer, so I should see you then. Heather's church baby shower is on June 21st (sorry, no guys) and then her friends' shower is in July sometime.
My cell phone is out of commission and I may be getting a new one this week ;)
