mockingbirdqI have no idea where Fox learned the gangster pose he's displaying in my new icon. Boys...
For those with a Target nearby, they are having big clearences this week.
Today many toys at my local store were marked down 50-75%. I saw women walking out with two or three cartloads each. I hope they were planning to donate them to someone, but kinda doubt it.
Also, I found boys and baby (for Xander) clothing on sale, such as sweats for $.98 each and children's shoes also 75% off. It's a good time to stock up if you have kiddos in the house...
A lot of toys weren't marked, so I advise scanning anything you want. A lady near me had a "Spike the Dinosaur" and V-smile portable game system and games in her cart, but she didn't leave any behind. Not that Fox needs any more toys after Christmas anyway. I put aside a lot of small items for Easter basket and rewards though.

Date: 2009-01-16 03:06 pm (UTC)Last year I fortuitiously ended up in Target on the morning of the day they were marking down and putting everything out. It was worse than Christmas as far as people pushing and grabbing. I did, however, manage to get a whole closetful of toys to give as birthday presents, etc. over the course of the year for ridiculously cheap. I wish I'd been as lucky this year!
