I'm not dead, just away from internet for awhile.

We were all sick, including Fox. Everyone else's antibiotics worked, but mine didn't. I ended up having to get a second set of stronger antibiotics, but my cough and respiratory issues seem to be clearing up now.

There was a student stabbed at our school yesterday, and the entire staff was stunned. The kid will be okay, but all the students are still rather shellshocked.

Standardized testing is next week and I just want it OVER! After that, we can have a few weeks of novel reading and fun stuff, including field trips. We are all so sick of testing reviews and the kids are going to mutiny soon.

I made Thai coconut soup tonight, homemade enchiladas yesterday and now I'm trying to come up with a breakfast smoothie incorporating hempmilk, flax seed oil, almond butter and fruit that Fox will actually drink. He likes the blender but doesn't drink much of we've come up with.
