mockingbirdqselene_avis made some macros related to the recent survey fail. One of the questions particularly rankled slash fans because the "researchers" completely ignored the fact that there are fandoms of cannon homosexual couples, such as Queer as Folk, Torchwood and many others. Here's her response using CLAMP images and repeating the question. This one was my favorite:

And that's just off the top of my head, from a genre I haven't been in for a while. I bet if you made a list of all fandoms with canon homosexual couples, it'd be longer than that survey, at this point. Longer, if you included openly homosexual characters who may or may not be getting laid onscreen. It's hardly as uncommon as all that these days. Also, that macro is made of pure win. Are there more where it came from, by any chance?
