May. 14th, 2007 07:02 amGood news and bad news. Bad news- my school was rated "Unacceptable" due to the TAKS scores of 2 minority students. The good news? - They were African American and NOT my kids (Hispanic and LEP)
I will attempt to stick it out at this school one more year unless a perfect position closer to home opens up before mid-July (when I can no longer legally break my contract). OTT, I've finished my 3 year probationary period now so I can't be fired without reason anymore. Yah!
That said, I need to do a lot of professional development hours this year so I can reapply for certification in 2008. Time flies...
Lately, Fox wants me to hold him in the rocking chair everynight when we get home. And he sings "Rockabye Mommy" to me. He's so cute when I don't want to strangle him ;)
For Mother's Day I saw Spiderman 3. I liked it more than Tomu did. Now for Shrek next week!
