Long night...
Dec. 11th, 2003 11:35 amTomu went back to work last night, and that's the baby's favorite time to be awake. I kept falling asleep nursing him only to wake up to find him sleeping on me. I think we're going to begin keeping DH's schedule of sleeping in the day and staying up at night. Since Todd won't really let me sleep at night anyway...
Lots of family coming in starting today and the house is a mess. I wish we could just barricade the doors and have a few weeks alone with our new baby but that isn't going to happen. I'm absolutely paranoid about one of us getting the flu strain that's currently passing around here, but everyone wants to visit the baby and I can't turn them away.
OTT, I'm tired and still very sore (I had fourth degree tearing and an episiotomy. Ouch!) I'm hoping I'll be able to do a bit more by next week, but right now I'm simply sleeping every chance I get. I'm feeling very blessed that Todd is so healthy and lucky that I had such a fast labor - although it was very intense at the time. I'm happy.
