We FINALLY have internet access again, though it's only dial-up because DSL wasn't available for our area! Wah!!

We survived the move, although it nearly didn't happen. 5 minutes before we had finished packing the moving van our "drugged" (our vet gave us tranquilizers to keep the kitties calm during the move) cat made it out the door and accross the neighborhood.

We spent the next hour wandering the neighborhood yelling "Na-BI-ki" at the top of our lungs and not wanting to leave without her. Tomu and I BOTH were crying at the thought of leaving her behind. Luckily I managed to spot kitty passed out behind a neighbor's woodpile and we only had to make the movers wait an extra hour!

I'm currently in the staff development from h*ll. My program has a budget, but no one can tell me how much it is or how to use it. I've received 3 different keys to my classroom door, none of which works. My TA is in her late 40's and is gleefully informing everyone in the school I have NO teaching experience whatsoever, and I think we're going to have some territory issues over the fact that the COACH who held my position last basically had her run the classes completely. I also have no login for the computer system and no one can give me a class schedule or roll. I'm VERY frustrated by the school district so far and wish I had time to order some new books/materials for my classroom since the last teacher purchased nothing but GRAMMAR textbooks. He apparently drilled the kids in gerund clauses rather than giving them any practical information about surviving in the US or letting them practice speaking (Grrr...)At least our classroom has some working computers.

Did I mention that school starts Thursday!!! And all teachers are wearing jeans and t-shirts for the 1st day as well (WISH I was joking.)

I dyed my hair orange tonight. Or should I say orange "in places". Why did I thing I could color my own hair? Time to visit the salon tomorrow...

Tomu has been home alone with Fox, who doesn't seem to care one bit that I'm not around. It's very petty of me but I'm feeling very jealous :( I think he will be weaned because his teeth have become small razor blades and I can't seem to teach him not to bite me. I really wanted to make it a few more months but it's getting so painful!!!

Things are good, just kinda crazy. I promise we'll be visiting home this weekend to see everybody.

Hope things look up ^_^ I would come and Viest you this weekend (will be in dallas area) but Im BOOKED up the entire weekend. As soon as i told my firends i was coming down ALL of them asked for time >_< i guess i been nageltic my firends for too long.
