We've only been back in school 3 days, but Monday and Tuesday I'm required to spend 2 days giving my kids a practice TAKS test. They are ready to mutiny over it and I don't blame them...

We had a bomb threat in school today, so the assistant principal anounced we were in lock down, went room to room with the master key and LOCKED ALL THE CLASSROOM DOORS WITH TEACHERS AND STUDENTS INSIDE!!! Is it just me or would it have made more sense to evacuate everyone out of the building that was being threatened??? And none of the other teachers were a bit concerned during the 2 hours we were locked in - why is it students only need to use the restroom once they can't leave the room @_@

Read this and got PO'ed too. First Virginia works against gay rights and now they are after women's. I like the suggestion that women should send this guy used tampons/sanitary pads in response to his insane interest in them ;)

*raises hand* I would be calling authorities. That is against about a dozen laws. What if there had been a fire? A real bomb? Would they have had time to go classroom to classroom to unlock everyone? This is definitely something you should call about and not allow to happen again. I've never heard of anyone else doing such a thing.
