Justin is getting tutored at home and has begun playing drums again. I am trying to convince my sister to call a MADD advocate to help her deal with the courts. We're managing...

Can I make a quick statement? Just because I would like to see a woman be president (or vice president) doesn't mean I want ANY woman to hold those positions. FIL was PO'ed at me when he brought up politics, assuming I would support Palin and he was less than thrilled when I said I would vote for Obama first (and I have some issues with him as well,but none that would keep me from voting for him...)

It's number 1 that most concerns me. I don't care how anti-abortion you are - most of us make an exception for rape and incest if nothing else. The fact that Palin does not, and that she also supports the right of a doctor or pharmacist to refuse to give birth control, scares me silly.

She may be a woman but that doesn't mean she supports other women.
